Mark Your Calendars - the 2010 event will be held on August 27-29, 2010
The annual Highland Community Days event takes place at the Tieton Square, sponsored by the Tieton Lions Club.
2009 Schedule of Events
Friday
~Vendor booths will open at 4:00 pm
~Kids can decorate their bicycles for the Parade at 5 pm in the square
~Car Show 6 pm registration
~Talent Show will begin at 6:00 pm
~Street dance will follow the Talent Show
~Poker Run, last car out @ 7 pm
~Prizes will be awarded for both at 8:30 pm
Saturday
~Bike Race to end at the Square just before the Parade begins at 9:45
~The Kiddie Parade will kick off the Main Parade beginning at 10:00 am.
~FREE games for the kids to enjoy beginning at 10 am and lasting until we’re out of prizes
~Tieton Grange is hosting BINGO at Harvest Hall
~Dancing Horses will perform from noon - 3 pm
~Artist Trust Film Series showing - non, 1:15, 2:30, 4:00pm, 6:00pm for more info
Free Entertainment on stage all day on Saturday:
10:45 ~ Highland High School Drill Team and Band will Perform the Highland Fling
11:00 ~ Banda Centenario
12:00 ~ La Casa Hogar Dancers
12:30 ~ Black Bisquit
1:30 ~ Pitty Dogs
2:30 ~ Old Time Fiddlers
4:30 ~ Sally Rose
5:00 ~ Cleopatra Belly Dancers
6:00 ~ Abby Lynn Pittenger
Sunday
~Tieton Lions Pancake Feed 7 am - 10 am
~Community Praise at the Square begins at 10:00 am
~ Filmmaking Brunch & Panel - Explore the incentives and opportunities for filmmaking in Washington, with Washington Film Works' Amy Dee, filmmakers Sandy Cioffi and John Comerford, and other guests to be announced. Co-presented with Tieton Arts & Humanities. ($15)
