Jim Sprick Community ParkJim Sprick Community Park is available to all residents of the area for day-use (groups of fewer than 25) and no reservations are required. In order to obtain income to provide improvements to the Park, local groups of larger than 25 people and out-of-the-area groups can rent the Park but are required to make reservations, sign a contract outlining use of the Park, and pay a small fee. In recent years, the Park was been rented for weddings, receptions, reunions, and like events. Overnight dry-camping is also available for large groups (no hook-ups are available), but no camping is allowed for the general public. The Park is being kept rustic, although a large covered picnic area with a refrigerator is available, a new playground and an approximately ¼-mile paved walking path has been added, along with showers and flush-toilets.
