Jim Sprick Community Park
Rental
Jim Sprick Community Park is available to all Nile area residents (only) for day-use. In order to obtain income to provide improvements to the
Park, local groups of larger than 25 people and out-of-the-area
groups may be able to rent the Park but are required to make reservations,
sign a contract outlining use of the Park, and pay a fee.
In recent years, the Park was been rented for weddings, receptions,
reunions, and like events. Overnight dry-camping is also available
for large groups (no hook-ups are available), but no camping is
allowed for the general public. The Park is being kept rustic, although
a large covered picnic area with a refrigerator is available, a
new playground and an approximately ¼-mile paved walking
path has been added, along with showers and flush-toilets. For
more information on the park or click
here for a map

The Clubhouse can accommodate 80 people; cost to rent is $100.00 per day.

Nile Valley Days - July 20-21, 2013
Nile Valley Days is held at Sprick Park during the third full weekend
in July of each year. This weekend is packed
with fun family activities: Many vendors with hand-crafted items,
food booths, displays, kid’s games, egg-toss, live entertainment,
Lions’ Bingo, black-powder demonstrations, horseshoe tournaments,
rescue demonstrations by Central WA Mountain Rescue, and amateur wood events
including the spike drive, cross-cut saw, wood-splitting, and axe
throw. When available, we also have archery demonstrations, pony
rides for the kids, alpacas on display, and other events. Each year
we try to include a new family-oriented activity. A $1.00 donation is taken at the gate, but is donation only.
